Thomson White Australia Pty Ltd (TWA) was established at the end of 1992 as the then merchants and industrial products distributor for Fosroc
Expandite, at that time, a major manufacturer of specialty construction products.
Since it’s inception, a large number of changes have occurred within the industry , which have seen TWA grow to become the National and International
marketing organisation of the “Aftek” brand.
The company’s management has a long history in the industry with the Directors having started their careers with the now defunct Nonporite company in the 1960’s.
Sales and support staff also have many years experience with other leading Australian based producers of construction chemicals.
TWA has representatives in all states in Australia with warehouse facilities and distribution centres. The company’s headquarters are located in Dandenong , Victoria
which is also the site of their wholly owned manufacturing business, Aftek Pty Ltd.
Aftek Pty Ltd produces a broad range of highly engineered cement based products for concrete repair, flooring, and shrinkage compensating grouting applications.
Epoxy resin products are an important part of Aftek’s technology. High performance water based products are produced for use in brick and masonry construction.
TWA also manufactures specialty chemicals for use in concrete construction and has been the market leader in the development of high performance concrete curing
compounds. TWA has toll manufacturing arrangements in place with some of the world’s largest and most respected companies covering a very wide technology base.
The TWA Woodcare range has been developed as the leading brand of “after treatment” systems for the ongoing durability and protection of weather exposed
wood that can be subject to decay or insect attack.
TWA prides itself on being innovative with new “Building Ideas” , whilst maintaining old fashioned levels of service to it’s very broad customer base.
